Dr. Volkan Taskin – Gastroenterologist – Easton, MD

Dr Taskin is not your typical doctor. He doesn't stare at his computer while talking to you, he actually looks you in the eye and handles your case personally. He reviews the information and makes sure you understand everything. He spends the time with you to where you get all your questions answered and does not rush you out the door. He will return your phone calls and do follow ups that work for you. He has the best bedside manners for a doctor that I have EVER had.

Dr. Taskin is an extremely caring GI. He is not only over-the-top generous with his time and very good at returning calls, he really listens and formulates a plan that you feel comfortable with. He is also knowledgeable about probiotics and diet and admits that the whole person (body mind spirit) needs to be tended to - he doesn't just throw the most common drugs at you and tell you to go on your merry way. He diagnosed me in 2004 and I was lucky enough to have him during my last hospital stay this year - I was bummed to move to NYC for one reason, having to leave him! His office staff is extremely helpful, especially if you don't have insurance. You can't go wrong with Taskin medically or financially!
