I've known Dr. Shetty for over fifteen years. He was recommended by my late fiancé who was a nurse. He has performed five colonoscopies during that time and they were all done under anesthesia. I suffered absolutely no pain in the days following as I have heard a lot of people do.
He diagnosed my serious ulcerative colitis in February 2014 and put me on a regimen of prednisone and an antibiotic for one month. After that period I was weaned off both and prescribed Lialda. I have had minor stomach pain and insomnia, however, many of the other medications had far more side-effects.
I highly recommend Dr. Shetty for anyone seeking to have a colonoscopy or suffering from Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease.
