Dr. Hussain is wonderful! He is very kind and understanding and a very good listener, but he will be strict with you if you are being ridiculous and over the top. He works primarily with people with IBD conditions. He told me that when we move to Utah, to feel free to call him if I have questions anyway because he’s not going to abandon me just because I’m leaving. His office staff will bend over backwards to get you in if it’s an emergency. He also will set up phone appointments a lot – he finds copays a bit ridiculous so if it’s something you can discuss over the phone, then he’ll do that instead. One night I hit bad traffic and was over an hour late for the appointment and it was the last appointment of the day. He stayed anyway, even though it was almost 7p.
The only hitch: you have to have Kaiser Insurance.
