Dr. Hyams has been wonderful for our daughter. We found him through the grace of God (after having been bounced around for several years by another doctor whose treatment of our daughter was unquestionably sloppy, if not downright harmful) and are very grateful. He has been unfailingly supportive and responsive to all of our questions. He doesn't have a terribly warm bedside manner, but he is always professional and courteous and my daughter feels secure with him. Perhaps most importantly, we never, ever feel rushed by him. He truly listens and never dismisses our concerns. I would recommend him very highly to any Connecticut (or other) parents who are seeking the best possible treatment for their children.
