In a word: great. Highly recommended. I was dealing with three or four GI doctors when I had my first hospital stay. All of them were good to an extent. I felt Dr. Allen was the only one who really didn’t seem like he was in a hurry. I was his patient for 6 years. In that time I never had to wait for a return phone call, was always treated with respect and the utmost care, had every question answered and felt fully supported in diet changes and supplement additions. In addition, he went on a local radio station with me to discuss ulcerative colitis and take questions from callers. Great guy with a wonderful sense of humor and strong sense of compassion for his patients. I will be incredibly lucky to find another doctor as good as he is.
