Dr. Nasrullah Manji – Gastroenterologist – Sugar Land, TX

Dr. Manji is my parents and my GI doctor, they actually started seeing him when my mother was pregnant with me, I'm 20 now. He has known me for my whole life so he treats me like a daughter but the wonderful thing about him is he treats all of his patients like that, new and old. I was hospitalized for 37 days last year during a flare and the Hospitalist assigned to me gave me Prednizone for the inflammation and Dilaudid for my pain. Dr. Manji, knowing how addictive and reliant on those medications your body can become, called to make sure I was weaned off them the correct way so I wouldn't suffer anymore than I already was. He even checked in after I transferred to St. Luke's in the Medical District, a transfer that was also possible thanks to him. My health insurance wasn't going to allow me to transfer but Dr. Manji made it his mission to get me in. It took 8 days to get through all the levels of the insurance maze but D r. Manji stuck with it

Dr. Manji sees patients every day both at his private office and at the hospital. Dr. Manji is a wonderful doctor and makes this horrible disease a little bit easier to handle.
