Dr. Shoham is in a large practice, conveniently located in 2 locations in Northern Virginia. Dr. Shoham jokes around, makes light of an ugly disease, is very thorough in his testing and very personable.
His office staff is fantastic – I know one of his assistants is a sufferer and had colon removal surgery. So you can really feel comfortable knowing that she understands your concerns, pain etc.
Since this is a larger practice, the facility to perform colonoscopies is in the same building. I have never had any insurance problems.
The team is also helpful when you are not able to fully pay for medication.
